Azure API Management update February 14

Azure API Management has received some interesting updates on February 14th.

The updates include bug fixes, changes, and new features – and some of the most interesting are:

  • You can now use the set-header policy to modify the Host header that will be forwarded to the back end.
  • You can now use System.Security.Cryptography.X509Certificates.RSACertificateExtensions class methods in policy expressions.
  • We removed the limit of 256 characters for API version release notes. ( <– this one is great!)
  • You can now change the Publisher Email and Organization Name properties without restarting API Management.

There are still plenty of customer wishes listed on UserVoice, but which feature(s) would you like to see in the coming updates of Azure API Management?
